Share of employment in the tourism sector in Morocco 2010-2019
As of 2019, five percent of the total employment in Morocco was tourism-related. This was the same share occupied by the sector in the previous year. Moreover, it increased since 2010, when the labor force directly employed in the tourism sector covered 4.3 percent of the country's total employment. Overall in 2019, over 5.7 thousand tourism enterprises existed in Morocco.
