In the third quarter of 2021, Huawei obtained just 0.5 percent of the European smartphone market based on shipments. During 2019, and the first half of 2020, Huawei had a large share of the European smartphone market, around the same levels as the market leaders Samsung and Apple. Since the third quarter of 2020, however, their market share has dropped significantly.
