In 2022, there were approximately 29 thousand metric tons of scad or layang and 15.7 thousand metric tons of skipjack tuna that landed at traditional wharfs in Indonesia. Most of Indonesia’s traditional wharfs have no permanent docks, and are managed directly by the local communities. It can be either private or public property.
