Paraguay: revenue models of fintech companies 2019
In 2019, nearly two thirds of fintech companies in Paraguay generated revenue through charging users transactional fees for purchases and transfers. Meanwhile, more than three out of 10 fintech startups operated on a profit margin revenue model, while 30 percent charge users a subscription fee. Only three percent of businesses applied a freemium model (basic services are provided for free, while more advanced features must be paid for).
