Value of assets in the banking sector in Kenya 2010-2022
The total value of bank assets in Kenya reached over 6.5 trillion Kenyan shillings (KSh), around 46 billion U.S. dollars, in 2022. It increased by roughly ten percent compared to the previous year. According to the source, the growth was due to an increment in other assets, loans and advances. Overall, assets from the banking sector have been following an upward trend in the country.
