Employment rate of urban women India 2016-2021
The employment rate of urban Indian women was about 5.4 percent in February 2021. With the onset of the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown across the country, employment rate among urban women took a hit from over seven percent in March 2020 to five percent the following month, fluctuating constantly through the pandemic.
