A September 2020 study focused on the preferred potential applications of technology for travel among respondents from several countries. Roughly 38 percent of the surveyed travelers worldwide claimed that they would like technology to help reduce queues and congestion in public spaces. Meanwhile, 29 percent of the survey sample thought that technology should help notify travelers in advance when there is a delay.
