As of 2021, Canadian teleworkers with low occupational skills accounted for the largest group of employees who wished to work most of all hours at home once the pandemic is over. By contrast, 37.4 percent of high-skilled employees preferred this option after the pandemic, representing the lowest percentage willing to work most of their hours at home. In addition, 42.6 percent of medium-skilled teleworkers indicated a combination of both home office and workplace as their preference once the COVID-19 pandemic is over.
