According to a survey conducted in 2020, Canadian employees working in the financial services made up the largest group of workers preferring to work primarily or entirely remotely, with 58 percent of respondents. Other sectors in which employees preferred home office were technology and telecommunication, business, and government. On the other hand, employees from the manufacturing, health care, and non-profit industries did not prefer to work mostly remotely.
