As of January 1, 2023, the aggregate Egyptian population was estimated at 104.46 million inhabitants. The majority of the population was between the ages of zero and four years, adding up to roughly 14.24 million children, segmented roughly into 6.98 million females and 7.26 million males. Moreover, the Egyptian population was skewed towards the younger generations, with the population count in each older generation being lower than the one before it. Overall, men were more than women in each age group in the country, except for individuals between 25 and 29 years old.
