Consumer preferences for new e-commerce technologies in Finland 2020

Virtual and augmented reality generated interest the most among the Finnish online customers, when asked about the use of new e-commerce technologies in a 2020 survey. 21 percent of survey respondents said that they would like to use virtual and augmented reality in online shopping in five years time. Another 18 percent of respondents stated that they would be willing to use biometrics, for example fingerprint and facial recognition to verify online payments.
