F2P games market share in Russia 2018-2021
Free-to-play games, or games that offered a significant share of content for free and did not require payments before purchasing and using them, occupied nearly 85 percent of the video games market in Russia in 2021. Games using that model gradually increased their market share over the observed period. There were over 41 million monthly active players of F2P puzzle games in Russia in 2020.
