Registered users Pix in Brazil used the instant payment method almost twice as much in January 2023 when compared to January 2022. The real-time payment option made up roughly 18 transactions when compared to its overall user number. This is significantly less than the per capita number of transactions for credit cards in Brazil, although that particular number is measured on an annual basis and was measured against the country's overall population.
