According to a survey from 2020, 65 percent of the respondents in Singapore expected to pay the same price for an electric vehicle as for an average car. Most respondents of the survey were not willing to pay more for electric vehicles than average cars. Four percent of respondents in Thailand were willing to pay more, and one percent to pay a premium price.
