As of April 2020, institutional investors worldwide were ready to exploit the opportunities caused by the crisis induced by the coronavirus pandemic. According to a survey conduced among institutional investors in April 2020, 71 percent of the respondents declared that, as a consequence of the pandemic, they were planning to look for undervalued assets to invest in. This strategy was followed particularly in North America (85 percent of the respondents), while only 60 percent of the respondents from Europe, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) declared to plan to invest in undervalued assets.
