Nuclear waste produced in Spain 2023, by nuclear plant
In 2023, nuclear power plants in Spain generated over 667 cubic meters of solid nuclear waste. The Cofrentes nuclear power plant – in the province of Valencia – generated almost 338 cubic meters, the largest amount reported amongst all the nuclear power plants across the Mediterranean country that year.
