According to a survey on consumer insights in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in 2020, the share of respondents who prefer to buy offline as well as online increased from 78 percent in 2019 to 82 percent in 2020 in Saudi Arabia. Shopping behaviors were altered significantly to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the lockdowns, store closures, and protective measures taken to prevent its spread.
