According to a survey on consumer insights in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in 2020, the share of offline home and garden purchases decreased from 64 percent in 2019 to 49 percent in 2020 in Saudi Arabia. Shopping behaviors were altered significantly to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the lockdowns, store closures, and protective measures taken to prevent its spread.
