In 2021, the number of passenger cars sold in Pakistan increased by 91 percent compared to 2020. Australia also saw an increase of over eleven percent in the number of cars sold in 2021. Despite selling the most number of passenger cars in the Asia Pacific region in 2020, China's market decreased by six percent compared to 2019. In comparison, Indonesia's passenger car market shrunk by half, decreasing by over 50 percent in 2020.
