From 2009 to 2018, foreign investments in wind energy in Brazil fluctuated from 0.29 to 1.67 billion U.S. dollars. In 2019, the total amount of foreign investments in the South American country took a turn with a significant increase to 2.91 billion U.S. dollars, which represented a more than fourfold increase over 2018.
