From 2009 to 2019, the evolution of foreign investments in wind energy in Mexico was unstable. By the end of the period, in 2019, the overall amount of foreign investments in the country reached to 0.33 billion U.S. dollars, which represented a drastic fall of approximately 63 percent compared to 2018.
