Based on a survey from June 2020, self-planning is the preferred way to organize a trip for Brazilian travelers. That month, 45 percent of respondents reported that they intended to directly book hotels, airlines, and further tourist services when planning for their next trip. Three out of ten people surveyed in the South American country would use a traditional travel agent, while nearly two out of ten survey participants would opt for OTA's services.
