Readiness to support retailers with food loss prevention measures in Japan 2020
The majority of Japanese consumers voiced their support for retailers that were making an effort to reduce food waste, according to a survey conducted from September to November 2020. Almost 40 percent of respondents stated their intention to purchase food at stores with food loss reduction measures, while another 47 percent had a tendency of supporting such stores.
