Changes in e-commerce behavior after COVID-19 among consumers in Australia 2020
A 2020 survey conducted among Australian consumers revealed that the local purchasing trend would be likely to continue beyond the COVID-19 crisis, with almost half of the respondents saying they would purchase more from local businesses even after the pandemic. Almost two-in-five respondents would reportedly purchase more online and make fewer trips to physical stores, at 38 percent and 37 percent respectively.
