There was popular support for internet companies to display their sources of information, a survey conducted in June 2020 found, with over 80 percent of respondents in each country surveyed supporting the idea. In Brazil, 63 percent of respondents felt this was extremely appropriate, compared with 46 percent of participants from the United States.
