Major food loss prevention measures in Japan 2023
The leading measure to prevent food loss in Japan was to make sure no food is wasted while eating, according to a survey conducted from in September 2023. While over 62 percent of respondents made sure to eat without leftover during meals, only 8.5 percent made an effort to change their choice of restaurants when eating out.
