The results of a 2020 survey among mobile shoppers in Australia suggested that for consumers, the main reasons for mobile commerce were time saving and ease of use – both for paying bills and for shopping. A narrow majority of 56 percent of respondents used mobile devices to pay bills because mobile bill payment saved them time.
