Pay TV penetration rate worldwide 2020-2026, by region

In 2021, the penetration rate of pay TV, including traditional and virtual pay TV, was the highest in Western Europe, at 65 percent. Second came the U.S., followed by Central and Eastern Europe. The penetration rate is forecast to decline in all regions, except for one - Middle East and Africa.
