French motorcyclists opinion on motorized two-wheelers noise rules 2018
After receiving complaints due to excessive noise produced by some motorized two-wheelers, governments voted on laws and implemented restrictions fighting this part of the noise pollution phenomenon. A study conducted in 2018 highlighted the French motorcyclists opinion towards these rules. While 56 percent of them agreed that authorities should enforce laws and punished motorcyclists producing excessive noise, more than half were opposed to closing roads following motorcycle noise complaints.
