Preference of humans vs. robo-advisors for retail investment advice worldwide 2022
Despite the growing importance of technology tools in the investment sector, retail investors worldwide still had a higher trust in human advisers than robo-advisors in 2022. In total, more than 70 percent stated having more trust in human advisors, while only six percent stated having more trust in robo-advisors. The highest trust for robo-advisors among retail investors was found in China, where 20 percent of retail investors stated robo-advisors to be the preferred source of trusted advice.
