U.S. cryptocurrency platform Coinbase made a profit on several millions worth of U.S. dollars based on crypto investments in 2020. This shows after closely investigating the investment activities from the Delaware company: the disposal of crypto assets minus the purchase of crypto assets reveals a positive number of 46 million U.S. dollars. Indeed, Coinbase ranks among the world's biggest public companies that keep Bitcoin in their corporate treasury as of 2021. Note that cryptocurrency investments are not the main-stay of Coinbase's business model: The company mentions alongside its revenue figures that "over 96 percent" was made up of transaction revenue from consumers on its platform.
