According to a survey conducted in Europe in 2020, 68 percent of healthcare organizations reported they were targeting elderly people for telehealth services and solutions, with older patients more likely to suffer from chronic diseases and take medication. A further 59 percent of healthcare facilities targeted people living in rural or isolated communities with their patient facing telehealth services and solutions.
