In 2017, 71 percent of postal operators in industrialized countries reported that the creation or strengthening of internal innovation capabilities was one of the major strategies used in the provision of digital postal services. In addition, 64 percent of respondents expressed increasing funds for the development of an electronic infrastructure as one of the other major services contributing to the provision of e-services.
