Leading banks in Angola 2021, by tier 1 capital
Banco de Poupança e Crédito had the largest level of capital among Angolan banks in 2021. The government-owned institution accumulated 941 million U.S. dollars in tier 1 capital, which consists of core capital, reserves, retained earnings, and minority interests. Banco de Fomento Angola followed with a capital of 623 million U.S. dollars.
