Online orders from large general marketplaces accounted for the highest growth share in the e-commerce market in Russia at around 57 percent. The second fastest growing sector in 2020 was eGrocery, contributing to 16 percent of the total growth in online orders.

- eGrocery includes all sales of online stores and delivery services of food products, except food sales through general and multi-category online stores and marketplaces.
- ePharma includes all online sales of pharmacies, excluding sales of pharmaceuticals through non-specialized platforms, online stores and marketplaces.
- Large general marketplaces include those in the top 20 online sellers and conducting sales in the marketplace model. As of December 2020, they were Wildberries, Ozon, Aliexpress Russia, Yandex.Market.
