As of the second quarter of 2024, there were nearly 5.7 million fixed internet subscriptions in Algeria. The number increased compared to the previous years. By comparison, approximately 3.26 million subscribers accessed the internet through fixed connections in 2018. The majority of subscribers used ADSL and 4G LTE technologies.
