Camino Real was considered the preferred luxury hotel among Mexicans in 2019, according to a survey. That year, roughly two out of ten respondents in the Latin American country said they would like to stay in a hotel of that brand. Fiesta Americana was the second favorite luxury hotel brand, chosen by 12 percent of Mexicans surveyed.
The question posed to survey participants was "¿en qué hotel de lujo desearía hospedarse?" (In a free translation: in which luxury hotel would you prefer to stay?).
