Greenhouse gas emissions in the United Kingdom are projected to decline in the coming decades across several sectors. Under the reference scenario, domestic transportation emissions are projected to drop by nearly 27 percent compared to 2022 levels by 2040, while power emissions would drop by about 69 percent during this period.
