Romania's education budget as a share of GDP 2005-2021
From 2005 to 2017, the budget for education in Romania variated between two and seven billion Romanian lei and did not represent more than 1.47 percent of the gross domestic product. However, the budget for education in Romania as a share of GDP peaked in 2020 at 2.72 percent and slightly dropped to 2.55 percent in 2021.
