L'Oréal e-commerce share of annual sales worldwide 2015-2022
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic pivoted cosmetics brand L'Oreal's digital sales channel during 2020, accounting for the highest growth of consolidated sales in e-commerce. As of 2020, more than a quarter of L'Oréal's total sales was generated through e-commerce. This share was only at 15.6 percent in 2019. The company's online share of sales kept growing, reaching 28.9 percent in 2021. In 2022, it dipped to around 28 percent.
