Quarterly value of fintech investment in EMEA 2017-2024

Fintech investments in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) declined consistently throughout 2022, with each quarter recording lower values than the previous one. This downward trend continued into the first half of 2023 before a sharp rise in the third quarter, followed by a drop to 4.9 billion U.S. dollars in the final quarter. The first half of 2024 saw modest improvement, with total funding reaching 8.5 billion U.S. dollars in the second quarter. However, investment levels declined again in the second half of the year.
