Number of commercial banks in Angola 2005-2020
Angola had 25 commercial banks in 2020, mostly national private banks. In the previous year, 26 institutions were authorized to operate in the country. Despite the few falls observed in the timeframe, the number of commercial banks in Angola has increased. As of 2005, there were only 12 institutions in operation in the country.
