The use of money transfer services was higher among adults living in urban areas in Angola. Between November 2019 and January 2020, the share of urban inhabitants who reported using the services reached 20 percent. Compared to rural areas, where the share was at 11.5 percent, the usage of money transfer services in urban areas was nearly two times more common. Overall, 17 percent of the adults surveyed used a money transfer service in Angola in the same period.
