Some people need to make regular medical appointments, especially for individuals with endometriosis, which accounts for about 18 percent of period-related expenses for students with other expenses besides menstrual protection. For many students, there are additional expenses, including medications (almost 58 percent), or the purchase of underwear and bedding, which can be damaged by period blood.
