In May 2021, 52.1 percent of businesses that import in the United Kingdom have experienced import difficulties in the previous two weeks due to the end of the EU transition period. A further 38.2 percent said that it was a mixture of Brexit and the Coronavirus pandemic, with just 2.6 percent saying the pandemic was the main reason.
