Share of reported teacher absenteeism GCC 2015, by country and intensity
Among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the largest share of teacher absenteeism that was reported as a serious problem by grade 4 student principles was in Oman at about 30 percent in 2015. The gender learning gap and teacher absenteeism and tardiness were two main issues in the education system in the region.
