Share of people who know someone who died of COVID-19 in Great Britain as of 2021
According to a survey conducted in Great Britain in March 2021, ten percent of respondents personally knew a close friend who died due to complications from COVID-19, while a further six percent of respondents knew a family member who died as a result of the virus.
