In August 2021, retail traffic to apparel stores in the United States was approximately 20 percent lower when compared to the same period in 2019. Since the beginning of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, health & beauty, furniture, and jewelry stores suffered greatly in terms of falling visitor numbers.
