More academics have been encouraged by their employer to work from home in Sweden in 2021. According to a survey, this was the case for 59 percent of the respondents in a survey, compared to 45 percent in September 2020. On the other hand, only 10 percent of academics were working from home because they chose it themselves, whereas 17 percent did the same in 2020. 21 percent never worked from home. In total, 56 percent of academics always or almost always worked from home in 2021.
