According to a study from 2021, only 13 percent of Norwegian employees had participated in education or training with the purpose of improving their soft skills, such as emotional- or social skills, in their work life. The majority, 84 percent, did not receive any such training. However, soft skills are considered very important to employees' work life in Norway.
